Costco to sell handbags

Bulk Shopping can be really addicting. I always seem to get carried away. The warehouses just always seem to have what I need. And while most people are there for the bulk savings on groceries and edibles, I find myself more attracted to the other things Costco has to offer. For example, I bought a really nice Cartier watch for my dad on Father’s day; and on Mother’s day we got her the wood flooring she always wanted for the kitchen. But Costco has never really been known to be a good place to get your fashion accessories. However that may start to change, Costco is now offering handbags to relieve you of the cash in your wallet. Lately, I have been seeing brands like Perlina and Liz Claiborne in store and brands like Fendi and Burberry online. Of course we all know Costco itself loves to get in on the action as well so they also have created their own line, the Kirkland Signature handbags which is actually pretty good quality. I am not sure how they do it but every time I go into the warehouse, I don’t come out empty handed.

Don’t forget you can always visit their respective designer name website. Even Louis Vuitton has one of his own now. Botkier at Target

Botkier will debut their new line of handbags for Target on July 20^th, but luckily for us, they’ve finally released preview images of this collection! People have been waiting for the debut since March, when news of this first came out, and now, we’re getting a taste of what’s to come.

Designer Monica Botkier told New York Magazine that she has created a collection for “the chic, modern woman”. The Target collection will of course include the signature details that make a Botkier bag, such as the use of hardware, plenty of interior pockets, and the long key chain. The collection features several different styles and sizes, with plenty of texture, and beautiful metallic shades.

And of course, all of this comes with a Target price tag, so you know you’ll be getting these Botkier bags for cheap. So what do you all think? Will you head to Target on July 20^th?

Mother’s Day is just around the corner….but how do you shop handbags for your mom without her help or knowing it? Here are some handy dandy tips to help you before the big day comes and places where good deals are going down for the special occasion.

Tip 1

Go through your mom’s handbag collections. What kind of handbags does she tend to buy? Simple or more decorative? Hobo or Tote? Is there a brand that she loves and can’t get enough of or maybe need more of?

Tip 2

Choose handbags that have magnetic closures instead of buckles. They are easier to open and close, and lasts a lot longer than the typical buckle.

Tip 3

Pick a classic. If you’re not sure you can always ask a sales associate. There are some bags that are timeless and even though style and fashions come and go, there will always be pieces that are “In”.

Tip 4

Think about the things your mom likes to carry with her in her bag. If she carries a variety of things in addition to what you may think are necessities such as books and make-up, you might want to pick a bag that is more spacious. Does she like all of her things organized? Then compartments maybe the way to go.

Tip 5

Think about weight. If you mom doesn’t carry that much stuff with her, or if you know she has a bad back, opt for bags that are lighter. Lighter bags are usually made of all canvas or soft leather.
