Harajuku Honey Tote

I’ve seen this brand around in department stores and online, but never really took too much notice because it wasn’t really my style. As I was shopping around at Bloomingdales, this bag came up —“Harajuku Lovers Women’s Flower Girl’s Honey Tote” (yes, it’s a very long name). I was thinking wow, this is really cute. So I started to look into some more. Harajuku Lovers is actually a brand by Gwen Stefani. Who would have guessed? It was launched in 2005 as a brand of apparel, fashion accessories, and stationary, but Harajuku Lovers is most popular for its fragrances. The concept for this line comes from Shibuya, Tokyo in the area of Harajuku, and Gwen Stefani’s Japanese back-up dancers. The main focus on Harajuku Lovers is on ‘Kawaiiness’ which are depictions of cuteness. I guess they really did their job when they came up with this bag. Since... ...I think this makes a really cute spring bag! It reminds me of childhood memories and for $68.60 at Bloomingdales, who needs to think twice?
