Those who follow fashion will know the brand Charlotte Olympia, although most often when the brand is discussed it is in the context of footwear. Charlotte Olympia Dellal launched her eponymous shoe line in 2008, and has seen her brand grow steadily ever since. The brand has now branched-out into handbags, jewellery, and small accessories, and has been met at every turn with resounding success.
Most recently, there have been a few standout pieces, and all of them have been occasional bags. Here we take a quick look at three of Charlotte Olympia's most unique occasional bag designs.
The Timepiece (sold out)
Worn by Diane Kruger, and street style star Miroslava Duma, the timepiece clutch is an engraved perspex matchbox clutch with a box chain shoulder strap. The bag has a functioning Roman numeral time clock on the front, and was wildly popular, selling out soon after its launch.
The Perfume Bottle Clutch ($1,295)
The perfume bottle clutch is a perspex clutch in the shape of a bottle of perfume that looks so realistic, passers-by will not be able to help themselves but take a second look. At 4.5'' x 7'' x 1.2'', there is plenty of room inside for all of your essentials, yet that does not detract from the unabashedly feminine vibe that this clutch brings to a look. The Velocity Clutch ($1,440)
This perspex clutch looks like it has been ripped straight off of the dashboard of James Bond's Aston Martin, so realistic is this hinged speedometer clutch. The velocity is still available online.
