Three guesses on which designer is responsible for this bag. Yep, I couldn’t guess I on my first three tries either. It’s BURBERRY! Who would have thought? Burberry calls this one their Warrior Bag…it’s kind of fitting? It’s been called the “IT Bag of Spring 2008”. I would like to know who said that…but I would say it was short lived since I don’t see it too often.
This is definitely something different coming from Burberry’s usual style. It’s an all leather bag with silver stud details. It first appeared on the runways in beige, but is most popular in the dark silver on top of black leather. Check out the detail below.
This bag is just not my cup of tea. I think it is a little too much on the hardware, probably making it a lot heavier than preferable. While it is different, it definitely takes a certain something something from the person carrying it to pull it off. However, if this bag just rocks your world, you can get it at Net-a-Porter for a nice $3195. It is certainly an investment at that price. Rock on!
