I was shopping at Bloomingdales the other day and noticed Marc Jacobs had a line that was called “Marc by Marc Jacobs”. This line included wallets, fragrances, clothing, shoes, bags, eyewear, and bags. The price range for this collection from Marc Jacobs was meant to be more affordable and young-looking. I thought this was a brilliant idea by Marc Jacobs---especially because these days, many shoppers’ have been closely watching how they spend their money.
Marc Jacobs has always been a well known designer for luxury handbags. Now he is focusing on his new Marc by Marc Jacobs line. The price range of this collection is no longer ridiculous or impossible to afford. The price of his gorgeous handbags are around $300 - $400, his eyewear is around $100, his shoes are around $200 - $300, his watches are around $150 - $200, and his ready to wear clothing are around $500 - $700. These prices are really reasonable. Truthfully, I feel that you get what you pay for with this new collection. You can’t beat the fact that this collection consists of designer merchandise for realistic prices!
