Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull Tote

Yesterday, I went to South Coast Plaza in Irvine, CA to avoid the scorching hot California sun. My mission was not to buy another handbag; however, I succumbed to my uncontrollable love for handbags and purchased the $700 Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull Tote. The Louis Vuitton store was packed. Even though the economy is pretty tough right now, Louis Vuitton is still selling their expensive luxurious bags with ease. Why? I think it has to do with their marketing strategy. Many handbag companies put their handbags on sale or at outlet malls. Louis Vuitton on the other hand is very strict on the matter of discounting their goods. As you may have noticed, Louis Vuitton does not discount their merchandise; they also do not open any outlet stores. This allows Louis Vuitton to maintain an upscale brand image. Louis Vuitton pretty much has a monopoly on their pricing. Another company that also practices this marketing tactic is Apple, maker of the world renowned iPhone. Like Louis Vuitton, Apple never discounts their merchandise to the public. I’ve got to admit that Louis Vuitton is doing the right thing. Their handbags are fabulous, their marketing is superb, and I cannot resist buying one!
