Tory Burch — Yay or Nay?
So, I’ve been shopping around lately at all the sales going on at Nordstorms, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and other places and Tory Burch seems to always pop up. I’ve noticed this designer before, but it doesn’t seem to strike an interest in my, so I thought I would look it up to see what she’s about.
Tory Burch officially launched her line in Fall of 2004. She started as a tiny business in an Upper East Side apartment with her ex-husband Chris Burch. Her label blossomed after Oprah gave her an over the air endorsement in April of 2005. Her collection is based on her own style with lots of bold prints and caftans. We probably know her best for her handbags and shoes with the double” T” logo. Her style reminds me of the 60’s or 70’s. Pricing for a typical Tory Burch handbag goes for about $500, but most of the time you can find the bag on sale for about half the price.
While I do notice people who carry Tory Burch, it doesn’t seem to have a wow factor to me. So yay or nay on Tory Burch?
