The Pantone Spring 2016 Colors Are Alive And Well In The Handbag World
Every year, the style influencers at the Pantone Institute disappear into a little room for several days, and when they re-emerge, the new color trend forecasts are announced. This year, the theme for the selected colors was “A Transporting and Transformative Canvas”, and boasted a wide variety of color from powdery pastel blue and pink to more vibrant shades of red, green, turquoise, and yellow.
With the Spring 2016 season just around the corner, we've been noticing that the people at Pantone appear to have been right on the money with their predictions of what handbag designers would want to create, and what their customers would want to buy. Although Pantone has touted the two colors “Rose Quartz” and “Serenity” as the two colors of the season, many of our favorite up-and-coming handbag selections from the Spring 2016 runways also happen to be perfect examples of a whole host of Pantone's Spring colors, and we cannot wait until they hit the stores.Proenza Schouler has done a similar version to their very popular PS11 Mini Classic bag in a shade very close to one of the season’s hottest colors, Green Flash. We absolutely love the fresh look of this bag in green, and think that the addition of the chain handle gives it a very pragmatic, day-into-night quality.
Delpozo is not messing around this season, giving us a top handle satchel bag that is exactly one half “Limped Shell” blue, and one half “Buttercup” yellow. There is simply no way that you cannot be happy carrying a bag in these effervescent spring colors.
Custo Barcelona has decided to take just about all of Pantone's Spring offerings and create this amazing tribal-print top handle satchel. This is a bag that will be elevating your mood while negating the need for a lot of other accessories.
