Black Friday started early this year. Retailers such as: Walmart, Bestbuy, Macys, Abercrombie & Fitch, Swarovski, and many more started on Thanksgiving Day. Many retailers started their sales at midnight after Thanksgiving in hopes to beat out the competition. These retailers were hoping that consumers would spend most of their money on them before hitting the retailers who opened at a later time. The gross sales for Black Friday 2012 were slightly less than Black Friday 2011. Either the promotions were not enticing or the consumers were being cautious on their spending. Anyhow, the Holidays are not quite over yet. There is still much more spending to do!
