Good news for Gucci and enviromental friendly fans, Gucci has just announced their new range of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified packaging made out of 100% recyclable materials to reduce the impact on the environment. The FSC certification verifies that all trees used to create the paper of bags and boxes come from well managed forest and that every stage in the prodcuation chain meets will the FSC standards. Gucci has made the effort to comply with every requirement and made sure that all of its suppliers involved in the launch of the new packaging are FSC certified. Gucci is also committed to making sure that no paper is being sourced from endangered forests. I believe the packaging will look something similar to the image above, as that is what they sent me with the news of this new packaging. I personally was very pleased to hear this news. Yay for being eco-friendly!
