I came across the most vibrant, colorful, and full of life handbag while browsing the internet. I clicked on the picture and realized that the bag was handmade out of recyclables! At first glance, nobody would’ve have thought it was made out of recyclables. It was colorfully crocheted with soda can tabs perfectly aligned next to one another. I admire this beautiful work of art for a good minute. I can’t believe it’s just soda pop tabs!
Then the second thing that caught my eye was $335.00! ARE YOU CRAZY?! That was the discounted price! It was originally $372.00. The number of tabs used was probably only going to come out to 10-15 dollars worth of soda cans. Then I thought about it and I would never want to buy because its “actual” worth is 15 dollars! She is totally jipping me another $330.00 dollar and I haven’t heard of her. I know Coach, Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton but who is Neide Ambrosio?
I looked at the picture for another good minute. The bag is so unique and I can’t even imagine the endless hours of labor that Neide put into this amazing work of art. You can see the creativity, details and hard work that were put into this. If I was Neide, I would have sold it for so much more because the time and effort is worth that much more.
